(please excuse the mess...maybe some broken links, grammatical errors, stupid sentences here and there...this is all very new! and of course only works in IE)
things that rock harder than sliced bread: I stopped by my friend's penthouse place in NYC and it is seriously the most gorgeous thing I have seen in a while that I physically felt sick as I looked over the shiny wooden floors and spacious rooms and bigbig windows and that stupid spiral staircase and her stupid view over the entire city. And then I cried because she showed me her several pairs of nm70 sneakers she got supercheap at their sample sales. I egged her on to bring me to the next one but godforbid I've chosen to go to the wrong school and will probably not be here for it. (HI SARWAT! remember: we are the o-r-i-g-i-n-a-l indie rockers haha) I also scored myself an internship for the summer where I only hope to score free CDs and free entrance to shows. I want nothing more. Now on to the search for something that pays. why won't anyone get me this morrissey cd? sure he whines and complains and will probably die alone but really I think people are going out of their way to prevent me from getting it. I've also been watching a lot of the Independent Film Channel to ween myself off of such school regulars as the Food Network and MTV. So far I have watched: SLC Punk, Loss of Sexual Innocence, The Last Cigarette (short film), Hamlet (with Ethan Hawke). Also the Metro channel is excellent. Two incidents so far give me good reason to believe that my dad is the most IRRATIONAL man on the planet. see what policy and management teaches you? that your dad is irrational? that's like the worst thing in the world. I've lost my appetite since being home. Big time. By observing my behavior I've noticed I no longer wake up because I am hungry. The first few things I do is brush my teeth and watch TV. I don't hit the kitchen till 3 or 4 hours later. So now I'm going to go for a bit and enjoy my break and some normal people company and watch LOADS of movies and read TUBS of books. I'm going to catch that Monsters, Inc movie now with the outtakes. I've waited this long - that's how hardcore I am. heh. P.S. really, nothing is better than sliced bread. |
